This is an activity meant to accompany New Horizon's 1年生 Unit 5 Part 1 for JHS. Basically you set up a hamburger shop using color clip art and a menu and have the students act out the dialogue with slight variations. I created 20 different food lists which should be cut out and handed to the students who then get in pairs and act out ordering their list of items from each other. After 10 minutes of practice each pair must stand up and take turns ordering food from one another using the clip art hamburgers and drinks. So when the student asks for "Three cheeseburgers and one cola please," their partner must inquire whether he/she wants large or small drink(s). At the end of the transaction the burger shop "employee" must give the "customer" the correct number of items. As this unit is supposed to focus on making things plural I didn't develop any of the cost and change aspect. Just have the students ask for the amount list in the book dialogue to keep them from wasting time and being confused.
This set includes: color clip art for everything on the menu, a menu, and 20 food lists. I laminated all of these things so that they could be used multiple times.
