- Using playing cards.
- Start at 0 and count to 99. the count increases based upon the card you play.
- Cards points are
- K= 99,
- Q,J= 10
- 10= -10
- 6=reverse
- 5=skip
- A=1 or 11
- all others are face value.
- Each student must play one card on their turn, add it to the discard pile total and then say the new total value.
- When someone goes out of cards they win. When someone counts to 100, or over, that person loses.
- for example : Current count is 0, First player (discards) plays a King: first player says 99
- second player plays a 10: second player says 89
- third player plays an 7 : third player says 96
- forth player plays a 5 : forth player says : 101: forth player is out.
I played a variation where King is 50 points and the count goes up to only 60 for Elementary school grade 3.
