This is most of the materials from my presentation on Cross-Cultural Understanding. The powerpoint and the games handout both have full Japanese translations.
There are 3 lessons.
The first is a Maru/Batsu game for American restaurant etiquette. We played maru/batsu and then had them fill out the worksheet after.
The second is the startup sheet for travel presentations you could use in a high-level or elective english class.
The third is an American statistics bingo game. We wrote lots of numbers on the board and students had to guess what fact they went with. Then they plugged the numbers into their bingo board. We played bingo and after each number was called out, the students guessed which fact it was. They found lots of the facts surprising.
Hope this is helpful!
