A vocabulary sheet and word cards to use for a game of charades for present continuous (singing, walking, running, etc) review (Unit 9 in New Horizon). Break the class into groups and give each student the vocabulary handout. Allow them to study this for 5-10 minutes then have the students put the sheets away. Next put a set of the cards in the middle of the table, face down. Have one student in each group take turns acting out a card they choose at random and the first student in each group to guess the action (by saying "He/She is RUNNING" etc) receives a point. At the end of the first round I gave the student with the most points in each group a sticker or prize. For the next round I moved all the winners from the previous round into a group of their own and switched the other groups around as well. The kids have a lot of fun with this game because they can get out of their desks and be crazy.
