Make a sentence game

Really simple time filler/review game.

Procedure (How to use):

Make teams (probably just the columns of students).

You say a word and one person from each team has to write a sentence using that word on the blackboard.

I score it like this,
1 point- understandable sentence.
2 points- correct sentence.
3 points- a correct and impressive sentence.

Really simple and the kids were surprisingly into it.

Oh! Just when I thought I would be going to class unprepared tomorrow, I found a new game to use with them. Thank you!

 

EDIT (Nov 1): This game worked quite well today.

I added a rule where the people sitting could use their textbooks and yell out help.

I also added another rule where the same sentence couldn't be used twice to prevent everyone from having the same one.

 

1 point for an attempted sentence (only 2 mistakes)

2 points for a perfect sentence

1 bonus point if they used the grammar pattern of the day.
