I'll take the guitar if Mark's not interested in it (since he didn't get the last one up for grabs).
If I end up with it, I can't pick it up tomorrow as I'm not going home after the meeting. We could think of another time to do it.
Oh, and I'll take the phone.
hi! could i get both fans, the rotating heater, and the computer table?
but how?! where?! when?! (what why which etc)
what are you doing with the computer that goes with that keyboard, speakers and desk?
Awesome! :-) I'm happy to see that people can get some use out of this stuff!
Justin!- If Mark's OK with it, the guitar and phone are yours.
Tara- Hooray! I'll mark both fans, the rotating heater, and computer table as SOLD!
Mark- I hadn't decided what to do with the computer... I bought it from my predecessor for $350 USD 2 years ago (it's now 3 1/2 years old) and it seems to be falling apart. Just last week, the monitor stopped working. I'm currently borrowing a monitor from the school which I'll have to return before I leave. Before that the computer base started making this clicking noise. I was told that that was the sign of a deteriorating hard drive but haven't seen any deterioration thus far... and it's been going on for about 6 months. Don't get me wrong... it's kind of slow but I still use it everyday and can watch movies, do e-mail, access facebook, upload pictures, play music, etc... I just didn't feel right about posting a monitor-less, clicking computer... but let me know if you want it. I would definitely give you a SUPER DISCOUNTED price!
As for delivering or picking up stuff, I'd like to wait till July since I'm still using most of it. I could bring some of the smaller stuff to one of the BBQs coming up or we could arrange to meet at Yamashina or another location (I'm in Katata). If you have a car (or are just really genki!), you're more than welcome to come to my place to pick stuff up. :-)
Mayumi reminded me that we can use the Kei Takagi mail service in July. I heard they're pretty efficient.
and has a lot of space.
justin the guitar is yours.
as for a moniterless clicking computer, i am gunna pass, i have a nice new laptop just was looking for something to mess around on.
~mark
mailing would be great! i worry about going on the train with 2 fans a heater and a table! i guess your really busy though, so maybe we can work out a time in july that i can come over and help you pack stuff for delivery?
~And katata is really cool too, you could go to the Izumia and ride the cool escalator ramps, and then check out the big Electronics store next door, and if you are really feeling up to you you could play spiderman and climb the old decrepid ferris wheel behind it!
Kei Takagi mail service? How does that work? Is it expensive?
No, it's dirt cheap. It involves me giving 1500 yen to the nearest Kei Takagi, you taking 1500 yen from the nearest Kei Takagi, giving a phone and guitar to the nearest Kei Takagi, me taking a phone and guitar from the nearest Kei Takagi, then getting the nearest Kei Takagi drunk enough to forget he just did me a favor - maybe get the nearest Kei Takagi drunk enough to think I just did him a favor. Kei Takagi mail service does not have a website, it is entirely dependent on word of mouth and having a local Kei Takagi.
Wow! That sounds amazing! Haha! :D
Hey this is Bobby where are you located and is the black shelving unit still available. Im very interested in it.
