Nikki Knight, Megan Pankratz and I (Anna Radke) are planning a volunteer trip to India on March 20-29, 2009. We will travel through a program called LONGITUDE This web page is incredibly detailed. Please check it out!

Does the Tv display 1080? If so I'm definitely interested.
Yes it can. It has a DVI input and I occasionally use it as my computer monitor, as well as an assortment of RCA and s-video inputs. HD broadcasts look as awesome as you'd expect, although I learned quite wuickly that sumo is =not= something that should be enjoyed in HD.
very nice gear Douglass.
i wish i had the 9 man to earnote for that setup.
Are you sure it's 1080? The amazon description says 768 so I just want to make sure. I'm gonna be using it primarily for my PS3 and I just want to make sure I can take advantage of Full HD 1080 resolution for the games I have the support it. If you're 100% sure then I'm 100% sold.
I'll check when I get home. I thought my video card's digital output was 1080, but I could be imaginging things.
And Eric, if you want it, I'm willing to bargain. It's going to suck for me a whole lot more if I don't get rid of these.
Another nice thing about the 5.1 ssetup is it's self-contained. You don't need a reciever in addition.
Sorry, I was talking out of my ass there a bit. Vertical resolution is only 768. It's still a very nice TV, even if it isn't the very nicest. I only used it for up to the PS2, but playing Shadow on the Collossus on it, and using the surround sound was pretty much mind-blowingly awesome. If It'll keep you interested, I'll be willing to knock a man off the price for failing to reach the pinnacle of 1080 awesomeness.
Sold. What kinda price can you give me if I take the speakers off your hands as well?
I'll throw in the speakers for an additonal 15 sen, including fiber optic cable, rca, s-video, DVI, all the wire you can desire for both speakers and TV. That's five speakers, and the control console. Like I said, you don't nee an amp or a reciever to hook up the surround. Plug you PS, DVD player, computer, whatever right into the console, and the beautiful sound comes out. For three sen more, I'll add my region free DVD player.
Do you know someone who has a car? It'd be a bit expensive to Kuroneko this.
You are scratching me right where I itch my good man. I don't need the DVD player but I'll definitely take those speakers as well. I do have access to a car so coming to pick everything up is no problem. I can come as early as tomorrow night if that's fine with you. If not I'll be busy the rest of the week and weekend until next week. Just shoot me a private message and we can arrange a time. or if you prefer email

doug i have another question for you, When are you leaving? your successor is most likely taking my bed off of me, but said she wont be at your apartment until the first week of august. I have to have it out of my apartment by the 25th of July if possible (we moved to a new place with no room for the bed and it is still just sitting in my old apartment and we have to be moved out by the 25th) is your apartment one that you can leave things in inbetween tennants? if so would it be possible for me to bring it to your place sometime this week or weekend, it would be nice if she had a bed to sleep in on her first night there too. i was planning on attending the farewell bbq this weekend, i could borrow the inlaws kei-truck and move it that day if possible. well let me know if you would. you can post here, email me or pm me i will check them all today and tomorrow. Thanks,
mark
I'm leaving on the 23rd. I'll be at the bbq too, so if you want to bring it then, we can wrangle it up to my apartment, and I'll find some place to stuff it - actually, since most of my stuff should be out by then, that probably won't be that hard.
Tyler, I sent directions to you gmail addy. Let me know if tonight works, and if you need further directions.
cool let me talk to linda and make sure she really wants it, and then we can figure something out.
thanks.
