ESL certification

Hello teachers etc.,
I was interested in earnign my ESL certificate while I was in Japan. Does anyone know how to go about this?? Thanks,

Depends on whether this would be certification for teaching overseas or teaching back home.  Which are you planning on doing?

If you're thinking about teaching abroad, the two most recognized certificates are the Cambridge CELTA and the Trinity TESOL (and equivalents).

I did the month-long SIT TESOL certificate course (School for International Training) and can definitely recommend it.
